The Remembrance Cremation Center features a private chapel, rest room, and outside entrance that allows for a private viewing and/or for witnessing of the cremation.
Your loved one never leaves our care!
When you entrust your loved ones care and protection to the Deck-Hanneman Family you can have peace of mind knowing we will not leave your loved one in the care of others. Other funeral homes advertise “cremations services” but don’t be fooled! We are the only Wood County funeral home that owns and operates an on-premise crematory to ensure the highest standards of care, comfort and accountability.
You can witness the cremation!
Family members can gather together prior to the cremation and can stay to witness their loved one being placed into the crematory. Much as in the same manner as being at the gravesite in the cemetery for burial.
Our Crematory is state of the art in technology!
Cremation is a process that reduces the deceased human remains to ash and bone fragments through heat, combustion and evaporation. Our state of the art equipment further reduces the bone fragments into a powder like constancy.
With Cremation instead of Burial can you . . . ?
Yes, the deceased can be viewed!
For public viewing the deceased will be embalmed.
Yes, you can have a Visitation and a Funeral!
You may choose a time of visitation with the deceased viewable for family and friends, a funeral service that can be followed with a gathering for a meal instead of a gathering at the cemetery.
No, you do not have to purchase a casket!
Should you have a visitation/funeral you can choose a rental casket.
