David Courtright, 58, of McComb passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay after a courageous fight with cancer.
David was born on December 27, 1959 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Elmer and Wilma (Sizemore) Courtright. David is survived by his daughter Lindsay (Kennith) Smith of Tiffin; sisters: Deb (Lee) Best of Arlington, Diane (Patrick) Altvater of Marysville and Denise ( Eric) Debelak of Findlay; brother Danny (Tina) McQuistion of Upper Sandusky; grandchildren: Jade, Hannah, Jacob, Kiara and Ty and his canine companion Winston.
David worked at Nissin in Findlay and attended the St. John Lutheran Church in McComb. David was a 1979 graduate of McComb High School and was a former member of the McComb VFW Post 9231 and was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan. The most important part of David’s life was his family and his friends. He cherished the time he spent with them, especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy.
Visitation for David will be on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the HARTLEY-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 370 Park Dr. S., McComb, Ohio 45858. David’s funeral service will be on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 1:00PM in the HARTLEY-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, with Pastor Ralph Mineo, officiating. Interment will follow in the McComb Union Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be gifted in David’s honor to Bridge Hospice.
