George M. Nicholson, 71 of Dunbridge, Ohio passed away Monday, August 7, 2006 at Wood Haven Health Care of Bowling Green.
George was born January 10, 1935 in Tontogany, Ohio to the late George and Anna (Pruden) Nicholson. He married Evelyn Moser on September 4, 1954 in Wooster, Ohio and she survives.
Mr. Nicholson was an Army veteran and his first job was as a machinist at Waterville Machine Co. for 15 years, he then worked at Frazier Machine in Perrysburg and he retired from F&K Industries of Toledo while owning the G&G Towing Co. of Dunbridge.
George was a member of the Middleton Township Volunteer Fire Department Station #2 in Dunbridge, Ohio, for 33 years.
George is survived by his wife, Evelyn; a son, George (Christine) of Bowling Green, Ohio; a brother, Jim Nicholson of Weston, Ohio; and a sister, Patricia of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marilyn Ruger.
Funeral services for Mr. Nicholson will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 10:00 AM in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, 218 E. Wooster St., Bowling Green, 419-352-2171. Burial will follow in the New Belleville Ridge Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 from 4-8 PM in the funeral home.
