Clarence Allen Barnett

Clarence Allen Barnett, 66, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on October 8, 2019. Clarence was born to Willie Barnett, Sr. and Patricia (Prederi) Hartley in Willard on March 8, 1953. He married Martha Gonzales and together they raised 3 children: Jacqueline, Steve and Ruth.  

Clarence was a loving husband and dedicated father. Life wasn’t easy raising three kids, but he always made sure that they were healthy and safe. Life didn’t always go as planned and when it didn’t, his kids always came first. He sacrificed a lot to make sure that his family was taken care of.

Clarence loved the outdoors. He was avid deer hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Willard Conservation League.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Martha Barnett; his mother, Patricia Hartley; his children Jacqueline (Jason) Parsons, Steve Barnett, and Ruth Reed; his grandchildren, Alexus, Austin, Stephon, Iesha, Xavier, Sierra, Gage, and Avah; his sisters, Mary Henik, Karen Sexton, and Sharon Hicks; and his brother Richard Barnett. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Barnett, Sr. and his brother, Willie Barnett, Jr.

A Memorial Service for Clarence will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Willard Church of the Nazarene,  4414 Townline Road 12, Willard, Ohio 44890.
