David A. Sovine

David Sovine, 62, of Weston passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019.  He was born on February 8, 1957 to the late Carl Sovine Sr. and Lena J. (King) Sovine in Vero Beach, Florida.  David married Sharon L. (Von Seggern) Sovine on July 9, 1988 and she survives him.

David is also survived by his brother Gary (Cheryl) Sovine of Port St. Lucie; nieces and nephews: Andrew, Patrick, Kellie, Matthew (Seph), and Lara (Neal); great nieces and nephews: Ryland, Amelia, and Jillian; sister-in-laws: Bonnie (Dave) Dietrich; and Victoria (Richard) Hendricks; and his two furry friends Harmony and Poof.  David was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Carl Sovine Jr.

David worked for Gearhart Plumbing for 25 years.  He enjoyed cooking, gardening and caring for his lawn.  David loved to watch the Miami Dolphins, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and NASCAR.  He will be dearly missed

Memorial contributions in David’s honor may be gifted to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Wood County Humane Society. 

A Memorial Gathering for David will be held on October 7, 2019 from 4:00 PM until the time of his Celebration of Life service at 5:00 PM in the Weston Church of Christ
