Floyd "Eddie" Edward Hicks

Floyd “Eddie” Hicks (52) of Willard, Ohio died Saturday, August 10, 2019 at his home after a battle with lung cancer, surrounded by his loving wife and family.  He was born November 13, 1966 to the late Eunice and Floyd Hicks.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.  He was also a member of the NRA.  He attended the Willard Church of God.

Eddie was a man with a beautiful heart who touched everyone he knew in a special way.  He would always help anyone with whatever he could; he would guide you down the right path.  He was a very loving husband, father, son, brother, pawpaw, uncle, and friend.  His heart was more precious than gold -  He was a great protector to everyone he loved.  He was one of a kind!  We will always miss and love him deeply.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Sherri Hicks; his daughters: Kristy Hicks, Natasha Hicks, Rosie Hicks, and stepdaughter, Elizabeth Musick; his grandchildren: Juliannah Rodriguez, Madelynn Grosswiler, Camden Grosswiler, Alicein Hicks, Kinsliegh Hicks, Ricky Musick, Jr., Quatrell Musick, Davontea Musick, Kailan Musick, and Maylasia Musick; his sisters: Mary Smith, Brenda Featheringill and Barbara DeSecottier; and his brothers: Clayton Hicks, Thomas Hicks, and Lenny DeSecottier. He will be reunited in heaven with his parents and his brothers: Roger Shepherd and Joel Hicks.

A Memorial Service for Eddie will held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 4:00 PM at the Willard Church of God, 4551 Willard West Road, Willard, Ohio 44890.
