Jacquelyn “Jackie” Lou Coffman, 93, of Sandusky and formerly of Tiffin and Findlay passed away at the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, on December 29, 2019.
Jackie was born on October 12, 1926 to Fremont, Ohio to the late Walter and Thelma (Lilley) Reed. She married Harold E. Coffman on February 3, 1945 and he preceded her in death in October 26, 1980. Jackie is survived by her children: Cheryl Coffman of Columbus, Steven (Carol) Coffman of Fremont, Marc (Jenny) Coffman of Tiffin and Krisann (Tim) Bowers of Sandusky, Ohio, 11 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death her siblings: Suzanne Maillard, Dale Reed and Duane Reed.
She worked at the Tiffin Bowling Alley and was member of the First Lutheran Church in Tiffin. She enjoyed swimming, especially water aerobics with her close friends at the YMCA in Findlay. Jackie also enjoyed knitting and could knit anything. She was an avid reader, and loved her mystery books. She loved playing Hand and Foot card game. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians and Browns fan. Most importantly, Jackie loved her family, especially her grandchildren who were her pride and joy.
Visitation for Jackie will be on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 11:00 AM until the time of her Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM in the HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840.
