Leo Watkins

Leo E. Watkins 91 of Fostoria and formerly of North Baltimore, passed away Saturday September 21, 2019.

Leo was born on June 5, 1928 in North Baltimore, Ohio to the late Chell and Bernice (Gibson) Watkins. He married the love of his life Bernita Biller on July 3, 1949 and she preceded him in death on October 7, 2011. Leo is survived by his two sons: Robert (Brenda) Watkins of North Baltimore and Dennis (Janis) Watkins of Kearney, Missouri, grandchildren: Greg, Brian, Jeff, Joe, Leanne and Craig and two step grandchildren: Misty and Nic and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Edna, Otis, Woody, Jim, Dalton, Bill and an infant sister.

Leo owned and operated the Watkins Cleaner in North Baltimore for 17 years. He was a member of the High Street United Methodist Church in Fostoria and enjoyed gardening and doing yard work.  Leo's most important part of his life was his family and cherished the time he spent with them.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Weaver Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be gifted in Leo’s honor to Bridge Hospice.
