Margaret Bollman

July 13, 1927 ~ August 29, 2019 (age 92)

Margaret Bollman, 92, of Liberty Center, Ohio passed away August 29, 2019. Margaret was born on July 13, 1927 to the late Ray and Mildred (Baker) Keafer in Fulton County, Ohio. She married the love of her life Alfred J. Bollman on June 1, 1947 and they were married for almost 65 years before he preceded her in death on May 1, 2012, just one month short of their anniversary.

Margaret is survived by her son James (Patricia) Bollman and grandson Jeremy (Heather) Bollman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alfred; infant son William Michael Bollman; sister Iris Keafer; and brother Robert Keafer.

Margaret graduated from Archbold Public Schools. She was a member of the Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Ladies group and a Sunday School Teacher. Margaret was also a member of the Liberty Center Garden Club, the Liberty Center Historical Society, and the Friends of the Liberty Center Library. She loved all animals and enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds in her yard. Margaret was employed at the LaChoy Company in Archbold and the McCord Company in Wauseon, retiring in 1988 after 27 years. She was actively attending the McCord retiree lunches every few months.  Margaret was an outgoing person who never met a stranger and was always willing to help.

Visitation for Margaret will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the Wright-Hanneman Funeral Home, 302 E. Maple Street, Liberty Center, Ohio. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow in Young Cemetery.
