Nathan Scott Shellhammer, 46, of Convoy, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, September, 4, 2019, at his residence.
He was born September 26, 1972, in Willard, Ohio to Scott A. and Angela M. (Smith) Shellhammer. His father, Scott (Kathy) Shellhammer survives in Van Wert, Ohio. His mother, Angela M. (Smith) Shellhammer, his wife, Carla S. (Epperson) Shellhammer, his grandparents, Lloyd and Joyce (Archer) Shellhammer and Lyle and Pearl (Knittel) Smith preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son, Brady O. Shellhammer of Incirlik Air Base, Turkey and by a daughter, Faith M. Shellhammer of Arcadia, Ohio. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Randall (Heidi) Brown of Honolulu, Hawaii and Mrs. Jeffrey (Nicole) Radde of Zanesville, Ohio. Nathan is also survived by three nieces, Jovea Brown, Eden Radde and Laken Radde and one nephew, Cayden Brown.
Nathan Shellhammer was an accomplished welder. He had a deep love for his children and family and had giving heart to the ones he loved. He had an avid love for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Dallas Cowboys, and Boston Celtics since childhood. Nathan also enjoyed racing and cooking.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held in Nathan’s honor on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 10:00-12Noon in the HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840. A brief service will begin at noon at the funeral home with Pastor Dutch Vandervlucht of the New Life Assembly of God officiating.
