Tony Mason

Tony Mason, 48, beloved Husband, Father, Son and Grandfather passed away on September 12, 2019 after a short bout with cancer. Tony was born on January 29, 1971 to James and Sharon (Decker) Mason in Bowling Green. He married the love of his life Julie (Fortney) Mason on September 2, 2006 and she survives him in Liberty Center.   

Tony is survived by his wife Julie; mother Sharon; daughter Paige Mason of Liberty Center; sons: Brett (Alexus) Mason of Thornville, Ohio; Nicholas Mason of Liberty Center; and Trent (Katelyn) Konrad of Liberty Center; grandchildren; Wyatt, Henry, Hadley, Braxton, Alonnah and Gracie; sister Linda Cothran; and brother Todd Jacobs.  He was preceded in death by his father James Mason; brothers: Ron Jacobs Jr. and Jeffrey Jacobs; and grandson Christopher Mason.

Tony was a route driver for 15 years and last worked for GFL environmental.  He was a diehard Dallas Cowboy’s fan.  And passed the love of football on to his children. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was proud of his collection.  Above all he was a family man, he enjoyed spending time with his family and went above and beyond to care for his mom, wife, children, and grandchildren.  He was a kindhearted caring soul who's loved and respected by many.  He will be dearly missed.

Memorial contributions in Tony’s honor may be gifted to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Visitation for Tony will be held on Tuesday September 17, 2019 from 10:00 am until the time of his funeral service at noon in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory 1460 W Wooster Street, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
