Brenda E. Insley

Brenda E. Insley, 67, of McComb passed away on Friday June 10, 2022.

Brenda was born on June 22, 1954 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Hershell and Jolene (Marshall) Barfell. She married Charles Insley on February 13, 1982 in the Portage Chapel Church near McComb and he survives in McComb. Brenda is also survived by her children: Amber (Derek) Senn of Minot, North Dakota, Aris Johnson of Woodstock, Illinois, Tim Insley of Morrow, Ohio, Andrew (Annie) Insley of New Reigel, Ohio and Jeffrey Insley of McComb; grandchildren: Urijah, Aerianah “Boo”, Logan, Charlee, Lillee, Zoey, Lochlan, Ronin, Cooper and Nessa, siblings: Jody Barfell and Mark Barfell both of Findlay. She was preceded in death by her brother Dwayne.

Brenda was a 1972 graduate of Findlay High School and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Stars # 23 of Findlay and Portage Chapel Church of McComb. Brenda enjoyed crafting, painting, needlework, sewing and cross stitch. Brenda was very active with her children’s school events and activities always making sure she was there to support them. Brenda also had a heart of gold. She would help anyone in a time of need. The most important part of Brenda’s life was her family, she cherished every moment she got to spend with them. Especially her grandchildren who were her pride and joy.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840. Brenda's Celebration of Life Service will be on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Ten-Mile Cemetery.
