Dale Albert Borer

Dale Borer, 70, of Fremont, passed away January 23, 2023. He was born on January 19, 1953 to Albert and Carolyn (Sherman) Borer. He was a 1971 graduate of Clyde High School. While later working for Tiffin Enterprise, he met his wife Melissa (Hooten) and they married on November 7, 1975.

Dale is survived by his children; Samantha Leber (Vaughn Billow), Brian Borer, Brant Borer, Kristin Hetrick (Jason Sinford) and grandchild Jenna Hetrick. Also surviving are his sisters; Donna Gooslin, Faye (Terry) Langham, brothers-in-law; Gary Ross, Brad Spaulding, William (Cruz) Hooten, and his dear friend and associate Ronald Drown.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister; Shirley Ross, and granddaughter; Emma Sinford.

Dale drove truck for Green Bay Packaging and considered himself a “Trucker for life”. He loved to travel, farming, his family, his cats, car shows, and anything that had an engine.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the family. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday January 28, 2023 from 9:00 am until the time of his memorial services at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church 206 N Park Ave, Fremont, OH 43420.
