Dolores Brunner

Dolores Brunner, 98, of Fremont passed away on August 4, 2022. 

Dolores was born on October 11, 1923 in Fremont, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Odelia (Mosser) Faist. She married George Brunner on February 13, 1945 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on October 3, 2007. Dolores is survived by her children: Steven (Susan) Brunner of Downingtown, PA and Barbara Eller of Cozumel, Mexico; grandchildren: Heather, Kristen and Jessica and great-grandchildren: Matthew, Andrew, Oia and Brody. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Robert, Lawrence, Clarence and Carl Faist and her sister Margaret Geller.

Dolores was a founding member of the Sacred Heart Church, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She also volunteered in the cafeteria. Dolores enjoyed traveling and camping with her late husband George and her family. Dolores devoted her life to her family. She was very active with her children extra-curricular activities. She was an excellent baker, especially when it came to making her cinnamon rolls. She was also a member of the Sleepy Hollow Golf Club.  

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5-7 PM in the Hanneman-Keller Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont. Dolores' Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Sacred Heart Church, 550 Smith Rd., Fremont. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Dolores’ honor to Sacred Heart Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
