Gregory Waco Long

Mr. Gregory W. Long, age 66, passed from this life on Saturday, April 13, 2024, while fishing on his boat. He was born on April 2, 1958, in Lima, Ohio to Lessie L. Long and Larry H. Long; both parents survive in Lima, OH.

He was united in holy matrimony to Karen Mays, she survives and resides in Lima, OH.

Greg was a caring person, who always took the time to check on his loved ones and if you came across his path, you were no longer a stranger. Greg worked for Allied Security, he spent his spare time taking care of others and doing what he loved “Fishing” and sharing his catch with others.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 1 brother: Larry D. Long of Columbus, OH. 1 sister: Hattie M. Long of Lima, OH. 2 Half-sisters: Tina Hutchins and Ruth Ann Yarbrough of Lima, OH. 1 Stepsister: Calvertta Green of Fort Myers, FL. Children: Lakisha (Ameer) Harris and Cassidy Long of Columbus, OH and Javen White of Lima, OH. 1 Grandson: Jandre White. 1 Niece: Olivra A. Long. 2 Nephews: Braxton Long and Amondeious Fisher. Greg leaves a host of first cousins, In-laws, family, and friends who loved him as a brother. Special friend Steve Howard who he spoke with daily.
