Joann Marie Fenstermaker

Joann Marie Fenstermaker, 76, of Rawson, Ohio passed away on Saturday, Nov 26, 2022 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family.

Joann was born on February 15, 1946, in Findlay, Ohio to the late Marion and Betty (Phipps) Doty. She married the love of her life Robert Fenstermaker on May 1, 1966 in the Hoytville United Methodist Church and he survives in Rawson. Also surviving are her children: Randy (Brenda) Fenstermaker, Marsha (John) Desgranges, and Mark (Angie) Fenstermaker; grandchildren: Becky (Phil) Curtis, Jake (Shanna) Fenstermaker, Macen (Brooke) Desgranges, Britta Dawn Fenstermaker, Kylee Dawn (Ryan) Cates, Dana Desgranges, Elise Dawn Fenstermaker and Parker Fenstermaker; great-grandchildren: Boden, Ashton, Chelsea, Erin, Braxton, MaKenna, Leroy, Wyatt, Oaklyn Dawn, Emersyn, Sidney Marie; sisters: Barbara (Tom) Clymer and Kaylene (Tom) Mellinger. She was preceded in death by her daughter Dawn in 1985.

At the age of 14, Joann accepted the Lord at Methodist Church camp. She was a 1964 graduate of McComb High School and was a faithful member of the Bethel Church of Christ, where she was the assistant organist. Joann also played the piano for many other church choirs.  Every new born of family, friends and Bethel church family received a baby quilt. She worked as a bus driver for Liberty Benton Schools retiring after 28 years. Joann enjoyed sewing, quilting and diamond painting. She was a tremendous baker, who more than anything enjoyed spending time with her family. Whether it was at family campouts, cook outs or just gathered around the kitchen table, it was some of the most cherished moments that Joann had.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 3:00-8:00 PM in the Bethel Church of Christ, 4014 Co Rd 304, Ada, Ohio 45810. Joann's Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Bethel Church of Christ, where visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Benton Ridge Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted with Hanneman Funeral Home, McComb.
