Keith D. Rader, 91, of McComb passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Heritage in Findlay.

Keith was born on March 27, 1931 in McComb, Ohio to the late Ralph and Murl (Hamby) Rader. He married Catherine Williams on August 27, 1950 in McComb and she preceded him in death on April 6, 2015. Keith is survived by his children, Marsha (David) Smith of Perrysburg, Rhonda (Mike) Doersam of Alexandria, Kentucky, Roger (Lori) Rader of McComb, David (Jackie) Rader of McComb and Brian (Angie) Rader of McComb; 19 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren with one on the way and a special companion Bernice Myers. He was also preceded in death by his brother Richard Rader.

Keith was a 1950 graduate of McComb High School and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. One of Keith’s most memorable trips was being able to go on the Honor Flight.  He was a member of the Morrison-Moorhead VFW Post 9231 in McComb and attended the McComb Church of Christ. Keith was a proud farmer who gave his entrepreneurship and strong work ethic to his children. He also served three terms as a Pleasant Township Trustee. Keith enjoyed his morning cup of coffee with his friends and was an outgoing and friendly individual who would help anyone in a time of need.

Visitation for Keith will be on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 3:00- 7:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 Park Dr. S., McComb, Ohio 45858. Additional visitation will be on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 10:00 until the time of Keith’s Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Military honors will be rendered by the Hancock County Memorial Squad at the conclusion of the services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Northwest Hancock Joint Fire District or PMP Rescue or McComb Church of Christ.
