Lisa Vernarsky Obituary

Lisa Marie Vernarsky, 62, of Tiffin and formerly of Fremont passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Mercy Hospital, Tiffin.

Lisa was born in Tiffin, Ohio on February 24, 1960 to the late Michael and Joy (Foulke) Vernarsky. Lisa is survived by her siblings: Michele Durkin of Mint Hill, North Carolina and Michael J. Vernarsky of Northport, Alabama; niece: Alexis (Phillip) Clark, of Coker, Alabama, nephew: Taylor Vernarsky of Northport, Alabama and two great- nieces: Charlotte May Clark and Callie Sue Clark and a great-nephew: Chase Phillip Clark.

Lisa was a 1978 graduate of St. Joseph High School and former member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Fremont.  Lisa loved her work at Tiffin Developmental Center and Orchard Park. Lisa also worked at the Heinz Factory in Fremont. Lisa was an avid reader and enjoyed a good book. Lisa’s dream job to be a librarian and volunteered much of her time at the library.  She loved horses, and going to lunch at TJ Wille’s in Tiffin. Lisa loved wearing jewelry and her purses. Lisa was a kind hearted individual who always greeted everyone with a smile.

Services for Lisa will be private, with interment in the Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown where she will be reunited with her parents.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Hanneman-Keller Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont, Ohio 43420.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lisa’s honor to St. Ann’s Catholic Church 1021 N. State St., Fremont, Ohio 43420.
