Lorraine Fitch

Lorraine Fitch, 72, of Findlay passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, with her loving husband, Bill of almost 51 years by her side.

Lorraine was born on June 26, 1950 in Greentree, Pa to the late Adam and Elinore (Griffin) Lach. She married the love of her life, William Fitch whom she met in college on May 27, 1972 in Pittsburgh, Pa and he survives in Findlay. Also surviving are her two children: Jarid (Brock) Fitch and Christina Eicher and siblings: Chris Boetticher, Ray Lach, Veronica Rubic, Mary Lou O’Malley and Susan Majersky. She was also preceded in death by her brother Ron Lach.

Lorraine received her Master's Degree and Certificate of Competence in Speech Therapy from Clarion University. She was a speech therapist who worked all round the United States, mainly in Punxsutawney and Warren, PA;  Benton, Arkansas, Chicago, IL,  and Findlay, Ohio. She retired after 42 years. Lorraine was a faithful member of St. Michael Archangel Catholic Church in Findlay and enjoyed watching reality tv, Fox News, doing sudoku, puzzles and crafts, especially making dolls and needlepoint. Lorraine and her beloved husband Bill were inseparable, everywhere one was, you could find the other. Lorraine and Bill also enjoyed going around Findlay playing Pokémon Go, an activity where they made a lot of friendships.

A Graveside Service will be held in Lorraine’s honor on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 1:00PM in the St. Michaels Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted with Hanneman Funeral Home, Findlay.
