Mary Ann Hillier

Mary Ann Hillier (Moore) 82, passed away on April 8, 2024.  She was born on June 6, 1941 to the late Walter and Ellen (Kiefer) Moore.  She married Thomas Hillier on June 26, 1960 and they had 3 children: Tina (Jeff) Emmerich, Steve (Robin) Hillier and Diane Hillier.  

She is also survived her grandchildren: Joshua (Jeanne) Emmerich, Heather Emmerich, Clay Edwards and Cole Hogrefe; great-grandchildren: Angela, Benjamin, Jackson, Lainey, and Audrey; and siblings: Kathleen Lugabihl, Thomas (Linda) Moore. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas, sister Irene Anderson and great grandson Daniel Harvey. 

Mary Ann was a stay-at-home mom for many years and still managed to work 30+ years for Thayer Ford Nissan, retiring in 2006.  She as an avid golfer and bowler.  She was a member of the Weston Church of Christ and the Lady Elks who she golfed with for many years. Mary Ann always loved having her family around her and was the best mother and grandmother anyone could ask for.   

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and aids of B Hall at Bowling Green Manor.  They loved her and cared for her as if she were their own mother.

Visitation for Mary Ann will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 2:00 until the time of her Celebration of Life service at 4:00 pm at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, 1460 W. Wooster Street, Bowling Green.  Burial will immediately follow at Weston Cemetery.
