Ronald Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Smith, who resided in Liberty Center, Ohio. Born on October 7, 1934, in Tontogany, Ohio, to Ralph and Bernice (Clark) Smith. Ronald was a skilled tradesman known for his expertise in construction, repair, machining, welding, a jack of all trades. He was sought after by many businesses for his abilities.

Ronald's craftsmanship extended far beyond his own projects; he was the go-to person for many local businesses and farmers who sought his services to repair or create essential equipment. His hands were truly gifted, and his work left a lasting impact on the community. He was also known for his airplane aerobatics. People would often stop along the road to watch him take off and land while enjoying his aerobatic show.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Smith, his daughters Pamela (Larry) Bonnell, Kathy (Dave) Beaverson, Michelle (Scott) Roller, step daughter Colleen (Randy) Sheeks, stepson Randy Coale, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ronald's memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, sister Arlene, brother Donald, spouse Gloria, and daughter Diane Moore.

The family has honored Ronald's wishes, and no services will be provided at this time.

Ronald Smith's legacy of hard work, dedication, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he find eternal peace in the arms of the divine.
