Rosa "Rosie" Tolles

Rosa “Rosie” Tolles, 77, of Grand Rapids, Ohio passed away December 5, 2022. Rosie was born on June 22, 1945 in Austria to the late Jakob and Frieda Frank. She married Leland Tolles on June 28 1963 in Germany and they were married for 58 years before he preceded her in death on December 18, 2021.

Rosie retired in 2010. She worked at both Saylor Products and the Campbell Soup Company. She enjoyed reading, watching soap operas and doing crossword puzzles. Rosie loved watching her two sons race their Bombers all over and guarding the race trailer in the pits. Most of all, her family was the most important part of her life. She enjoyed having cookouts and having the family together for the holidays.

Rosie is survived by her daughters: Pam (Paul) Long, Charlotte (Lee) Fruth; sons: Ron (Shelly), Tony (Jeannie); grandchildren: Andrew (Karen), Sarah, Erik, Amanda (James), Susan (Aaron), Allen, Anna (John), Karlee, Anthony II (Courtney), Christopher (Jessica), Austin (Shelby); great grandchildren: Kylie, Harper, Anthony III, Nolan, Clayton, Phoebe, Sophia, Tristan, Skylar, Westley, Kaitley, Brooklyn, and two on the way. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lee, infant son Larry, sister Anna, and brother Willie.

Visitation for Rosie will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 4:00 -7:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 24084 W. Second Street, Grand Rapids, Ohio 43522. Additional Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with interment to immediately follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be gifted in Rosie’s honor to the Lutheran Home in Napoleon or the Filling House.
