Sue Boden

Sue Boden, 76, of Findlay passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center surrounded by her loving family.

Sue was born in Findlay, Ohio on July 2, 1945 to the late Kenneth and Mary (Zechman) Walton. She married David Boden and he preceded her in death on May 5, 2011. Sue is survived by her children: Mindy (Keith) Tennant, Brenda Morrow, Pam Harpst, Jody Boden, Wayne Eaton and Michael (Kim) Eaton all of Findlay, 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters: Pam Shockey, Jan Fenton, Sandy Lentz and Sue Rose; her beloved canine companions Jetta, Baylee, Oscar and Maple and her dear friend Carolyn Weaver. She was preceded in death by her great-grandson Xavier Eaton and siblings: Gary Walton, Dick Walton, Ronnie Walton, Barb Ickes and Jean Flugga.

Sue worked for the Harris Company formerly RCA retiring after 35 years of service. She was a member of the AMVETS and Moose in Findlay. Sui enjoyed crocheting, playing Bingo, bowling but most of all, Sue loved spending time with her family. Sue took her love for crocheting and made each one of her grandchildren blankets. Sue also enjoyed sitting on her front porch greeting people with a friendly smile as they walked by.

Visitation for Sue will be on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840. Sue’s Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sue’s honor to the Hancock County Humane Society or to Bridge Hospice.
