Susan (Hall) Short

Susan Jane Short, of Plymouth, OH, passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 72. Born in Kenton, OH, on January 7, 1952, to Mount and Florence (Dysert) Hall. She was a beloved wife to Donald Gene Short, and a cherished mother to her daughters, Shelly and Bridgett.

Susan will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family, finding joy in spending quality time with them and tending to her beautiful flower beds. 

On April 12, 1974, Susan married the love of her life, Donald Short, with whom she shared almost 50 happy years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.

Susan's memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Donald, and her daughters, Shelly (Short) Metcalf and Bridgett (Michael) Lacy, siblings; Steve Hall, Laurie (Jim) Thomas, and Cathy (Craig) Perry, grandchildren; Kristen, Brandon, Nick, and Cameron and great-grandchildren; Bella and Jack, as well as a legacy of love and kindness that will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters; Brenda Evans and Pamela Stowe.
